Myth 9
The skilled trades offer no room for work-life
balance
Increasingly, work-life balance is something that job seekers are
looking for when they pick their careers. Statistics show that some
70 percent of people consider work-life balance as a factor when
applying for jobs. The takeaway is clear: most of us don’t want to
spend 70 hours a week at work, to miss out on time with family and
friends because of our jobs, or to have stress from work infect other
aspects of our day-to-day lives.
