included flexibility with work hours, the enjoyment of dealing with

customers or clients, or overall compensation. These answers,

also, directly conflict with several of the skilled trades myths we

discussed earlier.

Ultimately, job satisfaction doesn’t look exactly the same for every

person. It’s up to each of us to decide what will bring us the most

satisfaction and fulfillment in the careers we choose to follow. If

you believe that a job in the skilled trades would interest you, chal-

lenge you in a positive way, or otherwise bring you joy, know that

many of the people already working in the industry have openly

praised the job satisfaction levels offered by their careers.
