Even once people see that there are, in fact, quite a lot of jobs
available in the trades—and that the job growth projections in most
trade-related industries are quite favorable—there is often still a
misconception that the jobs themselves aren’t stable employment.
Indeed, a huge myth in the trades is that all the jobs are contrac-
tual or seasonal and that anyone looking for a reliable or “perma-
nent” career should look elsewhere.
