just how vast it can be. In partic-

segment of the field: the skilled

service trades.

The skilled service trades are

something of a catchall, featuring

a wide variety of career paths

that don’t fit into the other skilled

trades categories but are never-

theless often categorized as part

of the skilled trades. For instance,

many schools that offer career

and technical education opportu-

nities will host programs related to

these careers.
